1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to HirePlz ("Service," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our job application automation service operated by Magpie Web, located in Kerala, India.

By accessing or using HirePlz, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.

Important: These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Magpie Web. Please read them carefully.

2. Service Description

2.1 What HirePlz Does

HirePlz is a job application automation platform that allows users to:

  • Upload resumes and create personalized email templates
  • Import recipient lists via CSV files
  • Send bulk job application emails through Gmail API
  • Track email campaign progress and statistics
  • Manage job application workflows efficiently

2.2 Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service with reasonable notice.

3. User Accounts and Authentication

3.1 Google OAuth Authentication

HirePlz uses Google OAuth 2.0 for authentication. By using our service, you authorize us to:

  • Access your Google account information (name, email)
  • Send emails on your behalf through Gmail API
  • Maintain authentication sessions for service functionality

3.2 Account Responsibilities

  • You must have a valid Google account to use our service
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You may revoke access at any time through your Google account settings

4. Acceptable Use Policy

4.1 Permitted Uses

You may use HirePlz only for legitimate job application purposes, including:

  • Sending job applications to potential employers
  • Networking with industry professionals
  • Following up on job opportunities
  • Conducting professional outreach

4.2 Prohibited Activities

You expressly agree NOT to use HirePlz for:

  • Spam or unsolicited emails: Mass emailing unrelated to job applications
  • Fraudulent activities: Misrepresenting your identity or qualifications
  • Harassment: Sending unwanted or inappropriate communications
  • Illegal content: Any content that violates applicable laws
  • Malicious activities: Attempting to harm our service or users
  • Commercial advertising: Promoting products or services unrelated to job seeking
  • Data scraping: Collecting recipient information without consent
  • Account sharing: Allowing unauthorized access to your account

Violation Consequences: Violation of these policies may result in immediate account suspension or termination without notice.

5. Gmail API Usage and Compliance

5.1 API Usage

HirePlz integrates with Gmail API to provide email sending functionality. By using our service:

  • You consent to our use of Gmail API to send emails on your behalf
  • You acknowledge that we only send emails you explicitly compose and authorize
  • You understand that we do not read or access your existing emails
  • You agree to comply with Google's Terms of Service and API policies

5.2 Rate Limits and Restrictions

  • Email sending is subject to Gmail API rate limits
  • We may implement additional rate limiting to ensure service stability
  • Users may not attempt to circumvent rate limits or restrictions
  • Excessive usage may result in temporary service limitations

Google Compliance: We strictly adhere to Google's API Services User Data Policy and Limited Use requirements.

6. User Content and Data

6.1 User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload or create using HirePlz, including:

  • Resume files and documents
  • Email templates and messages
  • Recipient lists and contact information
  • Any other content you provide

6.2 Content Responsibilities

By uploading content to HirePlz, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own all rights to the content or have proper authorization
  • Your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights
  • Your content is accurate and not misleading
  • You have consent to contact all recipients in your lists
  • Your content does not contain viruses or malicious code

6.3 Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, but you acknowledge that:

  • No system is completely secure
  • You should maintain backups of important content
  • You are responsible for the security of your Google account
  • We cannot guarantee against all security breaches

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Our Rights

HirePlz and all related trademarks, copyrights, and intellectual property are owned by Magpie Web. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or reverse engineer our service
  • Use our trademarks or branding without permission
  • Create derivative works based on our platform
  • Attempt to extract our source code or algorithms

7.2 License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use HirePlz for your personal job application activities, subject to these Terms.

7.3 DMCA Compliance

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe your copyright has been infringed, please contact us at info@magpieweb.com with:

  • Description of the copyrighted work
  • Location of the infringing material
  • Your contact information
  • Statement of good faith belief
  • Statement of accuracy and authorization

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

8.1 Service Disclaimers

IMPORTANT: HirePlz is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind.

We specifically disclaim:

  • Guarantees of job placement or interview success
  • Warranties regarding email delivery or response rates
  • Responsibility for recipient reactions or responses
  • Liability for changes in email service policies
  • Guarantees of service availability or performance

8.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Magpie Web shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Actions taken by third parties based on your emails
  • Changes in Google's APIs or policies
  • Damages exceeding the amount paid for our service (if any)

8.3 User Responsibility

You acknowledge that:

  • Job application success depends on many factors beyond our service
  • You are responsible for the content and appropriateness of your emails
  • You should verify recipient information before sending
  • Professional communication standards apply to all emails sent

9. Termination

9.1 Your Right to Terminate

You may stop using HirePlz at any time by:

  • Revoking Google OAuth access through your Google account
  • Contacting us to request account deletion
  • Simply discontinuing use of the service

9.2 Our Right to Terminate

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you:

  • Violate these Terms of Service
  • Engage in prohibited activities
  • Abuse our service or infrastructure
  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Fail to comply with applicable laws

9.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your access to HirePlz will cease immediately
  • We may delete your data according to our retention policy
  • You may request data export before termination
  • Certain provisions of these Terms will survive termination

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala, India.

If you are accessing HirePlz from outside India, you consent to the transfer of any disputes to Indian courts and agree to be bound by Indian law.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by:

  • Posting updated Terms on our website
  • Sending email notifications to registered users
  • Displaying prominent notices in our service
  • Requiring acceptance of new Terms before continued use

Your continued use of HirePlz after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Magpie Web regarding HirePlz.

12.3 Waiver

No waiver of any term or condition shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.

12.4 Assignment

We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without notice. You may not assign your rights without our prior written consent.
